Data CoLAB, in partnership with NBI – Natural Business Intelligence, has recently launched the NVP – Natural Value Performance project.
This is a digital platform for monitoring natural capital to support your positive journey towards nature.
The Natural Value Performance (NVP) is a tool that enables companies and other organizations to understand and track their impact on nature worldwide. It “uses global satellite data and expert-based assessments to provide a set of intuitive indicators to map, quantify, and report the impacts, dependencies, and responses of business activities on nature. All of this within a user-friendly and integrative web platform,” as described on the project’s website.
Furthermore, NVP allows users to calculate the natural capital balance associated with business activities, empowering them to make informed decisions throughout their positive journey towards nature.
The project involves NBI, a Business & Ecology consultancy specialized in the strategic management and valuation of biodiversity, ecosystems, and natural capital, supporting the creation of options for a Nature-Based Economy through scientific knowledge and practical experience.
